Seahawks Sailing Club, Inc. is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the sport of High School Sailing to the students of Cape Cod Academy. The team is setup as a independent varsity club sailing team and is open to sailors of all levels in grades 7 through 12.

Our program closely parallels the collegiate sailing format with an emphasis on Team Racing events where each team fields three boats to sail against three boats from another team. In team racing teammates work together to outmaneuver the other team so that their combined race scores are better than the other team’s combined scores. Occasionally we will participate in fleet racing events where teams are divided into A and B divisions comprising of different skippers and crews for each division. Courses tend to be relatively short emphasizing starts and tactics.

As with any independent sailing club, we will be asking for parent's support and help. Funding for the Seahawks Sailing Club is provided through member contributions and community donations. Please contact us to learn more about how you can help info@seahawkssailing.org
